Injuries are a given in wrestling. It is almost impossible for a star to spend years taking bumps and not get injured. Especially for a star like Hulk Hogan, who was at the pinnacle of pro wrestling for around 35 years of his career, injuries are commonplace. During a recent interview, ‘The Hulkster’ revealed that he was preparing for another checkup for his back even after going through eleven surgeries.
Hulk Hogan, like every other wrestler, practically sacrificed his body to entertain his fans. However, as he ages, he is concerned about the severity of his back problems.

Hulk Hogan may have retired from wrestling, but his body is still punishing him. By now, everybody knows Hogan’s history of back problems. In fact, he has been seen walking with a cane several times in public. At one point earlier this year, he was rumored to have been paralyzed from the waist down.
During a recent interview with Theo Von, Hulk Hogan revealed that he was advised to turn up for another medical examination of his back. By the looks of it, his spinal injury could be severe despite the numerous surgeries he has already undergone. Hogan revealed that he was going for a Myelogram to see if the disk in his spine is pushed above the hardware.
He said, “They’re going to see if the disk is pushed to the spine above the hardware. And if it is, they want to go from the middle of my back to my neck, but if the disk isn’t pushing on the spinal cord, then they said, ‘We don’t want to cut on you anymore’ because my left hip is like 25 or 26 years old. They think there might be a problem there, but we’re going to find out.”
It is worth noting that Hogan went to hell with his back problems in 2009. The doctors reportedly indicated that Hogan’s back injury was so severe that he could possibly suffer from paralysis. Thankfully, Hogan did not lose feeling in his legs.
Moreover, Hogan turned a new leaf, quitting his addictions and turning to alternative medicine to ease the pain.

The multi-time World Champion recently told Forbes that he underwent 28 surgeries and realized that he needed an alternative path to treat pain rather than increasing his dependency on painkillers.
The Immortal One also relayed that he was inspired to turn to alternative medicine after meeting with Mike Tyson and Ric Flair. Nonetheless, we can only hope that Hulk Hogan’s back issue does not turn out to be anything serious.
