There is no wonder in the fact that The Rock is a man of many talents. Besides being a marquee figure of pro wrestling and Holywood, Dwayne The Rock Johnson gave testaments to his multi-dimensional mind by throwing himself into a number of other projects including a production house, the XFL league, his favorite Teremana Tequila. It’s not a shocker for him to be considered by the mass as an able person to channel his enormous skill for the nation’s benefit as well.

The speculation of The Rock throwing himself into the US presidential run dates back to 2021. The highest-paid Holywood actor previously gave a vague answer to the long-simmering rumors of him considering launching a presidential run. Capitalizing on that note, Johnson again kept the door open for discussion by dropping a riddle-like hint as the buzz resurfaced on the internet.

DJ has run his entire noncandidacy like an experienced politician. He himself fuelled the idea of his political debut and that too as a president as far back as 2016. He even joked about the idea in a Saturday Night Live monologue. Since then, he periodically went on confessing to the media that he was exploring a run. Despite being unclear and private about his political affiliation, Johnson even spilled a cool imaginative story about how his campaign launch would look like.

Now, it looks like it’s legit hard to smell what The Rock is cooking. It might or might not be a much anticipated presidential campaign of 2024. American columnist Carrie Sheffield, recently tweeted a photo of standing next to The Rock’s wax statue in Manhattan.

She captioned the post, Ran into @TheRockin Manhattan (fake wax Rock, ha!) Asked him if he’d run for president. He would neither confirm nor deny. Could this be the sleeper @NoLabelsOrg unity candidate?! #therock.”
The Rock ever the sport replied to her tweet and said he likes to keep such stuff close to his heart. In a retweet, he wrote, “Yeah, he’s very tight-lipped about that stuff, Carrie 😊 Apparently, he likes the gym, tequila, and something about a fanny pack 😂”

However, last year The Rock almost ruled out his hypothetical White House bid.

The Rock almost put an end to the idea of his potential Presidential run last year

Despite not being upfront quite often in his answer to his interest in gracing the US presidential chair, last year came as an exception. The actor confirmed to CBS Sunday Morning that he wasn’t eying the prestigious Presidential role as he wants to prioritize his role as a father instead.
He genuinely regretted not being physically present during the growing-up days of his first daughter and didn’t want to repeat the same mistake again.
”Sure, CEO sounds great. But the number one thing I wanna be is daddy, That’s it.”, Johnson concluded.
That didn’t sound like an excuse, as DJ’s love for his family is not secret. But as long as his recent reply counts, the 333 million plus Americans were left heavily confused about whether they will get the multi-time WWE world champion as their next President or not.
