Charlotte Flair is currently one of the most popular female wrestlers on the WWE roster. Her list of accolades is tough to match, and she has earned her among the greats over the years. Flair is a 14-times World Champion as well.
However, at WrestleMania 39, The Queen lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship gold to the extremely over and popular Rhea Ripley. Ripley and Flair would put forward a stellar performance, and had the crowd on the edge of their seats throughout their match.

Ripley was supposed to take on Charlotte Flair on the Night 1 main event. However, things would change, and Ripley and Flair would go one-on-one on the second last match of the night, just one before the main-event match of The Usos versus Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens.
As per traditions, the Royal Rumble winner is supposed to main-event WrestleMania. However, that hasn’t been always the case with the women’s match winner. And as this happened yet again, Flair took to Twitter to take an indirect dig at Triple H.

Not only would Flair take a dig at Triple H after her match, but she had also spoken about her main-event status being snatched away before her match as well. Both the women produced an amazing match filled with unique and beautiful spots, thus presenting the fans with the worth of their every penny.
Flair would seemingly let out her frustrations after missing out on her main-event opportunity. With rumors and reports of the return of Vince McMahon, the entire WWE universe is now in fear of what the future of women’s wrestling might hold in WWE.
Did Charlotte Flair’s rant about her main-event spot actually cost her the spot at WrestleMania 39?
Charlotte Flair, the daughter of Ric Flair is one of the most talented persons on the roster and is extremely outspoken as well. Prior to her ‘Mania match, she would appear on the show ‘Out of Character’ by WWE on Fox.
Here, she would speak on WWE giving more importance to their male superstars than their female ones. When the host would ask her if she would be moved away from the main-event match despite being deserving of it, The Queen would have an answer ready for him. Flair would claim, ” “How do I word this politically correct? I understand that the best story should close the show. I understand that.”

She would state that the men’s division is always guaranteed a main-event match after they win a Royal Rumble, which however is not the situation with the women’s division. Although Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens main-eventing WrestleMania 39 was not confirmed then, it might have been Flair’s outburst that could have led to the situation.
These are just assumptions, and nothing has been confirmed yet. Charlotte Flair’s future at WWE is still dicey, and there has been no news on her next endeavors as she may go on a break for a while.
