The latest edition of SmackDown saw Roman Reigns seated at ringside while Jey Uso faced off against Grayson Waller. While Reigns’ appearance was a distraction for Jey, he was able to weather the storm and emerge victorious. After the match, however, a brawl broke out, with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa attacking Jey Uso.
At one point, Roman Reigns made an unfortunate botch, much to the surprise of the WWE Universe. However, the fans were full of praise for The Tribal Chief, as he did not let the botch affect the momentum and flow of the segment.

Although Grayson Waller put up a fight, Jey Uso took him out with a spear and a splash. After the win, Solo Sikoa got involved, only to be taken out by Jey. At that point, Roman Reigns slid inside the ring from underneath the bottom rope and attempted a clothesline on Jey Uso. Uso ducked the clothesline and ran the rope, while Reigns slipped and fell.
Reigns, however, wasted little time getting back on his feet. In fact, The Tribal chief instantly got back on his feet and no-sold the botch, only to walk into a piercing spear by Jey Uso. Ultimately, the numbers game caught up to Jey Uso, as Sikoa and Reigns were able to beat Jey Uso down.
The segment ended after Solo Sikoa delivered a Samona Spike simultaneously as Roman Reigns hit Jey Uso with a vicious spear. At this point, it’s conspicuous that Jey Uso is outnumbered in his upcoming Tribal Combat with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Moreover, Reigns will stop at nothing to retain his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
With Jimmy Uso no longer in his corner, the odds are stacked against Jey Uso.
Nevertheless, the WWE Universe was impressed by Roman Reigns’ skills in the ring after the botched spot.
Roman Reigns proves exactly why is he a true ‘legend’
It’s safe to bet that Roman Reigns is a tough act to follow. He has faced the greatest names in the business and subdued them all. After all, he has done what was considered inconceivable, remaining Champion for over 1000 Days in the modern era.
Although some fans may refer to Reigns as a “closet Champion” because he avoids Championship matches, no one can deny that he is a master between the ropes. In addition, The Head of The Table is also a very safe worker. WWE Universe showered praise on him after he quickly recovered from the botched spot and carried on with the segment.
