Heels are just as much important as baby faces in WWE. In fact, a fierce villain makes a better hero. Much like how villains in comic books help define the hero’s story and struggle, babyfaces in WWE need heels to add depth to their rivalries. However, villains are not limited to professional wrestling or the movies, as there’re many sports celebrities outside the realm of pro wrestling who may display heel traits.

WWE’s power couple, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, recently listed out their top five picks from other sports that could perceivably make fierce heels in the WWE.

Although Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch are currently babyfaces, fans have seen their villainous sides. As a matter of fact, Seth Rollins is one of the most loved heels in the business.

During an appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch revealed their A-List of best sports figures that could potentially be great heels in WWE.

‘The Visionary’ started the list from the bottom. At number 5, Rollins placed the General Manager of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick. According to Rollins, Belichick would make a great heel due to his savage appearance. Imagining him as a great manager of a heel faction, Rollins also pointed out that Belichick is Championship material.

Moving on to number 4, Becky Lynch picked the current boxing undisputed lightweight champion, Katie Taylor. Lynch admires the mystique tied to Taylor. According to her, it’s Taylor’s dominant reputation in boxing that earns her a spot at number 4. Not to mention, she is also Irish.

Lynch stated, “We have an Irish lady. Her name is Katie Taylor, a killer. Damn near unbeatable, but also a silent killer. Very dangerous, but also possibly one of the nicest human beings you’ll ever meet. You would think that is a good thing. Maybe she is too nice. What is she hiding?”

As adorable and kind as they are, Becky and Seth have a lot of experience as top heels of the company. They know what ingredients it takes to make a dreaded heel in the business.

Rollins further revealed NBA legend, LeBron James as the third-best heel on the list. The four-time NBA Champion needs no introduction. LeBron James is arguably the best in the game today. The fact that James is constantly compared to the best NBA stars in history would make him come across as a formidable heel in WWE.

“He smokes a cigar. He hangs out on a yacht. He does whatever LeBron wants to do. It’s his world, we’re all just living in it. Very, very easy to dislike. He’s too good. He can’t be beat,” Rollins said.

Furthermore, Becky Lynch then picked UFC’s undefeated star, “Sugar” Sean O’Malley at number 2. Lynch cited that Malley’s brash and arrogant persona makes him one of the most loathed stars in his field.

And finally, Rollins put New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, at number 1. Rollins believes that Rodgers has the most punchable face in the NFL. The fact that Rodgers speaks his mind wherever he goes makes him the hottest heel in the NFL.

Rollins added, “You wanna talk about punchable faces, this guy has got the most punchable face in all the NFL, and he knows it, too. He knows it. He’s cocky. He’s got swag. He goes out there, tells the Bears he owns you.”

There you have it! That completes the list of the top five best villains from outside pro wrestling, per Rollins and Lynch. Seth Rollins is currently gearing up to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor at Money in the Bank.

On the other hand, Becky Lynch will battle several other women in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match come Saturday.
