“Pretty Original Idea”: Second Week in a Row, Kevin Nash Slams LA Knight for His Viral Kobe Bryant-Michael Jordan Remarks on Being Compared to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

July 1, 2023, The O2 Arena, London, England, Money in the Bank Ladder match was going on with full enthusiasm. The entire WWE Universe was cheering just one name ‘LA Knight’. Millions of fans sitting at their homes were also rooting for Knight. However, it didn’t get the appreciation of WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash.

The WWE legend was not happy at all with this new in-ring character of LA Knight. He took a shot at the WWE star by calling him a “ripoff” of Dwayne Johnson. Even Knight didn’t sit still with it and fired back citing the example of two basketball legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. This gave Nash another opportunity to take a dig at him. And once again, the WWE Hall of Famer slammed the fan-favorite superstar in return for his viral comment.

The viral statement of LA Knight didn’t fit well with Kevin Nash

Recently, on the latest episode of his wrestling podcast ‘Kliq This’, the WWE Hall of Famer once again mentioned LA Knight. This time, he broke down his previous comment on the star. Not only this, but Nash also gave his views on Knight citing the example of NBA legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

That statement of Knight didn’t fit well with the WWE legend. He said that being a look-alike of a star doesn’t mean that you had their game as well.

Talking about LA Knight, Kevin Nash said, “If I put on a pair of Jordans and a Kobe Bryant Jersey and walked through the mall. I’m not going to have their game.”

Nash also mentioned that when the late WWE legend Scott Hall impersonated Tony Montana’s Scarface, it was an original idea since it was inspired by a fictional character. However, things are not the same with LA Knight.

“I just want to make that perfectly clear that um and then somebody…. said, ‘Oh your best friend impersonated Tony Montana’s Scarface’. Okay, pretty original, pretty original idea. You know pretty original idea you take uh somebody from a motion picture and make him a wrestling character.”, Nash continued.

A few days back, LA Knight replied to Kevin Nash’s previous statement saying that his aim is to be a better version of The Rock and Steve Austin. He also mentioned that people used to compare Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan, but it turned out to be a healthy comparison.

Kevin Nash is facing a lot of criticism because of his earlier comment on LA Knight. However, this didn’t stop him to put his views on the table.
