By now, it is no secret that a legion of NBA stars are WWE fanboys. Be it giant Shaquille O’Neil, 5x champion Dennis Rodman, or NBA’s top scorer LeBron James, these legends each have their favorite pro wrestlers. It is no surprise, therefore, that King James is a massive Dwayne Johnson fan. One of the most recognized pro wrestlers of all time, The People’s Champ has made it big not just in wrestling, but has an equal hold in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, one of Dwayne Johnson’s closest friends, Nick Khan, has opined on James’ legacy. Khan and Johnson share a deep bond that extends beyond the WWE. Not just Nick, The Brahma Bull shares a special bond with his sister Nahnatchka Khan as well. Apart from the personal relationship, the two are involved in his NBC show “Young Rock”, where Nahnatchka serves as the show’s co-creator.

Nick Khan believes NBA shouldn’t be hasty with Lebron James

The present CEO of WWE, Nick Khan has said the NBA shouldn’t rush with LeBron James and allow him to play for a few more years if he can keep himself fit.

Khan made the comment while appearing on The Marchand and Ourand Sports Media podcast.

When questioned if the NBA would need to join the bandwagon and cut jobs, as prevalent in the US market currently, Khan said he wouldn’t take out a healthy LeBron James, based on the latter’s age.

“So if you’re the NBA with a very strong product, healthy LeBron James as of a couple of nights ago, you obviously want him to go for a few more years. That matters to me, I’d wait,” Dwayne Johnson’s childhood friend said, pointing out James’ GOAT status.
