WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is known for his outspoken nature among fans. Flair never hesitates to share those memories from the past that his former comrades may not like. And he did the same, but this time, it is about the Bulls legend Dennis Rodman.
The WWE legend is also very opinionated about basketball and follows the sport religiously. The Nature Boy disclosed a hilarious story involving the former Miami Heats player. Flair recently brought the former basketball player under the spotlight by talking about an offer that Rodman made to him a while ago.
Ric Flair remembers the time when Dennis Rodman made him an offer

Recently, WWE legend Ric Flair appeared on the latest episode of the podcast ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. There he talked about several things including praising the Paul brothers and his dependence on drugs during his heyday. In the podcast, a segment came when Flair recalled the time when basketball legend Dennis Rodman made him an offer that left him traumatized.
Ric Flair revealed that Dennis Rodman was offered a substantial sum to visit North Korea and he asked Flair to come with him. The WWE legend mentioned that he declined his offer saying that I have been there before and will never revisit. He even called Dennis crazy and said that he can do anything.
Talking about Rodman’s offer, Ric Flair said, “Rodman goes…They paid him…He hasn’t gone a while, buddy. Dennis called me because they gave him 250 and I will get the 25 to go….I am not going over there for 250. I have been there, brother. Dennis is crazy. Dennis will do anything.”
Flair denied the former basketball player’s offer. The WWE Hall of Famer has a not-so-good experience with North Korea.
Why Flair didn’t want to revisit North Korea?
Earlier in the podcast, Ric Flair talked about his experience when he visited North Korea. He said that it was a great place, and that people served him so well. He also praised the Korean food, saying that he still cooks Korean barbeque.

However, the major problem that he faced there was that he couldn’t roam around freely. Flair mentioned that he never lets anyone drive the car for him, as he loves to do that on his own. But in North Korea, they wouldn’t let him go anywhere without a driver.

He didn’t feel free over there, and that’s the reason he didn’t accept Rodman’s offer of revisiting North Korea with him. Additionally,Rodman went on to visit the country without Flair and even became good friends with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un while Flair stayed at home and enjoyed his barbeque.
