We are just 14 days away from the launch of WWE 2K24 on March 8, 2024. The highly anticipated annual release of the franchise has fans excited about the new content and game modes it will bring. To build up the hype even more, WWE announced three fresh faces and features that should excite all wrestling fans. The 2K24 version will have every wrestler on the current roster and will feature 40 years of WrestleMania for fans to enjoy. This will be a step up from last year’s edition with improved gameplay and a few tweaks to the mechanics.

WWE 2K24 will feature three-ring announcers, including Samantha Irvin

The main point of the WWE 2K games, including 2K24, is to recreate the magic of the WWE folklore in games. With hyper-realistic entrances and sets with all the wrestlers on the main roster, this is where WWE fans come to live out their dream matches. So, how realistic can the game be without the ring announcers? WWE recently announced that WWE 2K24 will feature not one but three ring announcers: Alicia Taylor, Mike Rome, and Samantha Irvin. Irvin has gained a huge following online thanks to the impressive and passionate way she announces the wrestlers.

The game will also feature the Showcase of the Immortals. This lets you enter the squared circle and relive iconic WrestleMania moments that span over four decades. You can play legendary matches and rivalries, along with the unforgettable entrances of some of the most beloved superstars.

WWE 2K24 also features Backstage Brawls with multiple Superstars. This takes the action out of the ring. The returning game modes include the Casket and ambulance matches. These have been missing from previous games. There will also be the Gauntlet match and the Special Guest Referee match, where you can tip the scales in your favor.

Nevertheless, this edition of the video game will allow fans to have a very special interaction.

WWE 2K24 will honor the late great Bray Wyatt

While WWE 2K24 has put a ton of emphasis on Cody Rhodes with the tagline ‘Finish your story,’ there has been a ton of work put into honoring Bray Wyatt. While the iconic wrestler’s normal look will feature in a DLC pack, The Fiend will be among the roster of players to choose from.

The former WWE champion’s sudden and untimely demise last year has left fans yearning for an opportunity to pay tribute to the star. Now, in a virtual setting, the WWE Universe can bid a special goodbye to Wyatt by allowing themselves to use their favorite superstar and revisit new storylines.

The game also promises smoother gameplay with enhanced Super Finishers. There will be a revamped Trading Blows mini-game and top rope dives onto groups outside the ring.
