WWE 2k24: Bad Bunny Announced on Roster, Here’s His Possible Rating

Bad Bunny has been a seldom recurring face in WWE ever since his first appearance in 2021. After two years of being featured in the wrestling promotion, the pop star was finally given a place on the promotion’s virtual roster in WWE 2k23. And it looks like the Stamford-based company will expand on the same trend they did last year.

WWE is gradually releasing the roster for WWE 2k24. They have recently revealed that Bad Bunny would also feature as one of the playable stars in the promotion’s official game this year, just like the last addition in the series.

Bad Bunny’s rating may drop this year

The OVR rating in a WWE 2k game is based significantly on how a particular superstar has performed during the last few months before the game gets released. The upper 80s and 90s are reserved for upper-mid-carders and main-eventers, respectively. Whereas, ratings lower than 85 are usually given to the wrestlers who are either mid-carders or often perform among the opening cards.

When Bad Bunny performed in 2022, he was a lower-mid-card. This led to the pop star gaining an OVR rating of 83 in the 2k23 video game. Last year, his card remained the same, without any improvement. Moreover, we didn’t see many matches featuring him.

So, a prediction would be that Bad Bunny’s rating would range somewhere from 80 to 85. It seems highly unlikely for it to increase. Consequently, Bunny would either remain the same in the virtual roster or have a reduced rating. Fans may have to prepare themselves to see his rating even drop to 81 this year.

However, this part-time wrestler’s reduced rating isn’t the only change that will take place in WWE 2k24’s virtual roster. In fact, Rhea Ripley‘s and Dominik Mysterio‘s ratings will also observe subtle differences.

Rhea Ripley is setting a record

Dominik Mysterio reached the same level that Bad Bunny had in 2k23. This year, Mysterio will have an OVR rating of 83, which is a significant raise from his previous year’s rating of 78. On the other hand, his on-screen love interest will not receive a considerable difference in her WWE 2k24 rating.

In 2k23, Ripley’s OVR was 95, but this year, she would sit at 96. While it doesn’t look like much of a change, Mami will become the highest-rated woman in the video game.
