It is not new for the WWE to have celebrities appear on their programs, with Pamela Anderson, Stephen Amell, Snoop Dogg, Kim Kardashian, and Donald Trump being just a few of the big-name stars to have appeared in the WWE. However, only some get the chance to feature as part of the promotion’s video games. Here are the lucky ones who became a part of WWE’s video game history:

Muhammad Ali

WWE 2K24 aims to provide the wrestling community with a refined and refreshing experience. To keep things fresh, the developers of the game have introduced revered boxer Muhammad Ali as a playable character.

Machine Gun Kelly

Music sensation Machine Gun Kelly made a memorable appearance for the wrestling promotion back in 2015. In a scintillating performance, Kelly suffered the ignominy of being powerbombed through a table by WWE superstar Kevin Owens. He later became a part of WWE 2K22 as part of the Whole Dam Pack DLC.

Fred Durst

The frontman of the band Limp Bizkit will forever go down in WWE history books because of his song ‘Rollin’ being the theme for The Undertaker and, secondly, for being a part of ‘WWE SmackDown! Just Bring It’ back in 2001.

Mike Tyson

‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ made his video game debut for WWE 2K13 as part of the Attitude Era DLC. There, he adorned the iconic gear of DX.

Mr. T

The A-Team and Rocky star was not just a Hollywood icon, but even a legend in the realm of pro wrestling. He main evented the first ever WrestleMania as he teamed up with Hulk Hogan to defeat Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorf. As part of the Clowning Around Pack DLC, he became a part of WWE 2K22.

Bad Bunny has become somewhat of a familiar face in the WWE now. He has often expressed his love for the sport and is a lifelong fan of pro wrestling. So the WWE allowed him to be a musical guest and even a wrestler in the promotion. Making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37, he won a tag team match. He even co-headlined WWE Backlash on his home island of Puerto Rico. He then stamped his entry into the video game franchise as an exclusive pre-order character for WWE 2K23.

And now with WWE 2k24 releasing in March, are there any other celebrities we can get as a surprise addition to the game? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments.
