With the 40th edition of WrestleMania looming large, 2K has promised a jam-packed roster with a series of more than 200 high-flying superstars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Austin Theory, and many more. While they are yet to release all the names and details of the most awaited video game, the community day programming was enough to set our hearts on fire. And most importantly, they all didn’t exaggerate the marketing game. Scheduled for worldwide launch on March 8, with early access available on March 5 for Deluxe and Forty Years of WrestleMania edition purchasers, the game is generating more and more buzz among fans.

They dropped a brand new teaser video today that made everyone talk. The brief clip saw several tweets from WWE fans, urging to bring back the special guest referee feature. Then they referred to the footage of Randy Orton donning a referee’s T-shirt and delivering his signature RKO. The post on Twitter included a caption: “Master of the rules.” This brought a massive ray of hope for fans who missed their chances to be featured as a referee in their delighting previous 2k video game experiences.
