WWE has been going ‘all in’ with the teases and hints for their upcoming video game WWE 2k24. Since the logo was revealed, fans have been discussing over a variety of topics ranging from the new features to who might be on the cover of the game. While complete details will be revealed on January 22, 2024, probably during Monday Night Raw, a possible Bray Wyatt mode has been teased by WWE and John Cena. Here are two reasons why Bray Wyatt Showcase Mode is a possibility in WWE 2k24.

The emoji says it all

WWE Games has recently posted a new hint for game features and possibly for a Bray Wyatt mode. In the post, fans could spot a nWo t-shirt hanging on a coat hanger with WWE 2k24 on it. At, first fans might think that is a nod to the infamous heel faction, New World Order consisting of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash which was active in the late 90s. However, eagle-eyed fans might notice a pirate emoji right next to the dates mentioned in the caption.

The emoji is also a nod to the WrestleMania 36’s pirate-themed Premium Live Event. WWE decided to go all out with the theme in 2020 as the event was recorded in an arena without fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event gave fans a glimpse into one of the most popular matches in the history of WWE, Bray Wyatt versus John Cena in the Firefly Funhouse Match.

However, an emoji alone might not be able to advocate about the Bray Wyatt Showcase Mode. Therefore, here is reason number two why fans will get to relive Bray Wyatt’s career.

You saw him for the first time

Since he joined WWE, John Cena was never portrayed as a heel in the company. While fans wanted to see him take on that avatar, he was always portrayed and is still portrayed as a prominent baby face of the company. However, fans got a glimpse of Cena’s dark side on WrestleMania 36. For the first and only time in his career, fans saw him turn heel against Bray Wyatt.

While that was there, the Leader of the Cenation donned the iconic nWo t-shirt, showing his allegiance to the iconic heel stable. While fans were at first confused as to why Cena was tagged along with the picture of the nWo t-shirt, the whole backstory justifies the action. The nWo t-shirt and pirate emoji could be the hint at what fans have been waiting for so long, a Bray Wyatt Showcase Mode. While fans want to see Bray Wyatt on the cover of the game, do you think that will be a possibility?
