The 2024 Elimination Chamber press conference event saw the WWE Superstars set the stage for the PLE with a big bang. The Perth crowd cheered for everyone, particularly its native pro wrestlers Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller. The crowd especially enjoyed a particular gesture performed by the duo to end the event.

The shoey is a fun practice carried out in Australia for a very long time. A person usually fills their boot with champagne and then gulps it down to cheer and celebrate a win or an occasion. While Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller had to use the Prime drink owing to a collaborative partnership, Daniel Ricciardo sticks to champagne.

Moreover, while the Australian F1 stalwart does a shoey after his victories, he also influenced Lewis Hamilton once to do the same. Moreover, Hamilton requested Ricciardo to take off his other boot for him for the epic celebration move. Now, Rhea Ripley also performed the iconic gesture to energize WWE Universe Australia.

Thus, while Nia Jax tried to claim herself of Australian descent, the shoey told the crowd who the original native was.
