As the match started, the two got off to a slow pace as they took in the electric crowd singing Rollins’ theme and chanting McIntyre’s name. Once the top locked in the middle of the ring, it was a show of strength. This carried on for a few minutes as the fans cheered for the WWE World Heavyweight title match as the opener.

As McIntyre got the upper hand, tossing Rollins to the mat, he hit a victory move that looked very similar to that of a legendary soccer player. The celebratory gesture is what Portuguese soccer star Cristino Ronaldo does after every goal titled the SIUU.

This, amidst the rumors of Ronaldo making an appearance, has got fans even more buzzing during the opening title match. However, Ronaldo did not appear during the event as he had a match. But this move was enough to get the fans on their feet. It even struck a chord with online fans, who immediately began posting about it.

Post-match Damian Priest cash in

As Rollins picked up the win, Damian Priest of the Judgment Day walked towards the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase. Priest has been waiting for an opportunity to cash in. However, he’s been thwarted every time.  This was no different. As Priest confronted the referee to cash his case in, a hooded figure appeared.

This was none other than Sami Zayn, who was out here to stop the Judgment Day. He stole the briefcase and ran away with it. This ensures there would be no cash-in, and Rollins would walk away still the champion.
