For weeks, Logan Paul’s boxing bout against MMA fighter Dillon Danis had been the talk of the town. The two left no stone unturned- from taking personal cheap shots to airing dirty laundry in public- before the fight. Unfortunately, the match itself wasn’t as exciting and it ultimately gave Paul a victory, as his opponent was disqualified. But it was the after-match comment that kept WWE fans on their toes.

The Maverick chose to call out a WWE Hall of Famer, getting reactions from both the legend and the promotion in the process.

Who does Logan Paul want to face?

The YouTube sensation-turned-boxer-and-pro wrestler wants to face Rey Mysterio. He called out the 48-year-old and said he aimed to go after the current United States Champion for his belt.

“I’m an American boy and I want that US title,” Paul said. He added that he has beaten Mysterio once and was now coming for the latter’s gold.

Mysterio was quick to respond to the challenge as well. The legendary luchador said he wasn’t hard to find and invited Paul to seek him out on Friday nights on SmackDown. Shortly afterward, Paul left a three-word tweet. WWE also jumped into the exchange with a pair of eyes emoji.
