Rare Footage Shows Brock Lesnar Revealing 7-Time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Influence on His Life

Brock Lesnar is a godly specimen. The superstar who made his WWE debut over 2 decades ago has convincingly dominated every person in the ring. One of the reasons why people get intimated by Lesnar is because of his physique. Now, we know the man behind Lesnar’s incredible body and his idol. In a resurfaced clip, Brock Lesnar has revealed his idol growing up is none other than bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Brock Lesnar idolizes an influential figure

While we expect superstars to look the part when they enter the squared circle, Lesnar has done beyond that. The man is built like a tank. With each wrestler idolizing someone to march in their footsteps and emulate their success, the beast incarnate found his hero in the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Now, in an absolutely wonderful throwback video, you can see the 46-year-old mentioning Schwarzenegger as his hero. In the video, the reporter asks Lesnar ‘who’s his idol growing up, to which a charged Lesnar responds by saying: “my idol growing up was Arnold Schwarzenegger” 

There is no denying that Lesnar has truly embodied the 7-time Mr. Olympia winner, as he has a similar framework and structure as his inspiration.

He has also exclaimed in the past his obsession with the Hall of Famer, by constantly doing push-ups and pull-ups at home and his farm, he left no stone unturned to become ‘The Beast’ that he is today.

Lesnar’s journey to the top because of Arnold Schwarzenegger

Brock’s obsession with being like Schwarzenegger really propelled him to new heights. Wrestling in Minnesota, his coaches would constantly praise him for being extra agile and moving like a doll compared to other people his size.
