“Apparently the Match Ended Early Cause of the Blood”, “Not Planned”: WWE Fans React as Brock Lesnar Gets Busted Open During His Embarrassing Loss Against Cody Rhodes

WWE Backlash 2023 came to an end on a high note. After several high-action matches and incredible spots, the fans were allowed to go home happy and joyous. The event began with a match between Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair and ended on a similar high note between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes. However, one special spot in the main event took over the fans as they celebrated the moment.

The Beast Incarnate would bust himself open after landing face-first on an exposed turnbuckle. Soon after landing on it, Lesnar started bleeding profusely. The landing would leave the 45-year-old with a nasty-looking gash on his forehead.

Rhodes, on the other hand, would enjoy the moment, and wipe all of Lesnar’s blood on his own chest to send a signal. The American Nightmare has undergone a massive change in its approach and is much more ruthless than before. Fans were also excited to see such physicality and blood in the main event. No sooner did Rhodes bust open Lesnar, than fans started reacting to it.

WWE Backlash 2023 was a thrilling event, with Bad Bunny landing on a table to Brock Lesnar being busted up being some of the highlights from the show. And because of this, fans enjoyed every moment. As Lesnar dressed up in the crimson mask, fans took to Twitter to react to it.

Rhodes eventually defeated Lesnar by pinning him during a kimura lock. Although fans enjoyed the physicality of the match, the ending left them underwhelmed. However, the feud seems far from over, as Lesnar sat in despair in the ring, and Rhodes quickly fled from the scene. At Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, the two might collide again.
