Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Moné fell short to win the Strong Women’s Championship at NJPW Resurgence. A month ago Willow Nightingale did the unthinkable on May 21st, 2023, as she defeated Banks to become the inaugural Strong Women’s Championship. The decision was made mainly due to Banks’ unexpected injury.

Now, Nightingale is set to face Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World title. And WWE legend shares his wish to see her win and hold two belts simultaneously.

WWE Legend shares his views on Toni Storm vs Willow Nightingale 

AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door will see a champion vs champion match. But it will be for Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s World Title. Hence Willow Nightingale has a chance to be a double champion. Moreover, Mark Henry seems to be looking forward to the same this Sunday.

After an impressive match against Mercedes Moné last month, Henry thinks the 29-year-old should be the double champion. He shared his views on the recent episode of the Busted Open podcast.

Henry said, “I think it’s a straightforward match where Willow Nightingale wins and she is holding up two titles. Did you forget that Willow is a champion too?”

The World Strongest Man gave his views on the current AEW women’s roster. He claimed fans are talking more about Taya Valkyrie and Kris Statlander’s TBS Championship match over AEW Women’s World title. As per the WWE legend, Storm and Nightingale can put a solid match to make the title shine in a better light as the 29-year-old did with Moné.

A Sasha Banks match on the card would have excited fans as well. A few weeks ago, Tony Khan even indirectly addressed what was ‘The Ceo’s’ status for Forbidden Door PPV. Nevertheless, Nightingale has another chance to prove herself on Sunday.

Mark Henry had some solid views on the women’s division of AEW. Although he believes Storm and Nightingale can change the situation at Forbidden Door, he gave more insights into how the Strong Women’s Champion can benefit from a victory.

The World Strongest Man stated, “Title for Title – That’s what I want to see. That’s how you get respect and that’s why I think Willow Nightingale has a lot to gain if she was able to beat somebody like a Toni Storm.”
