Paige shared how Banks’ mental health got affected a lot in 2017 when she took Mone’s kick on the back. She told the interviewer only ‘The CEO’ can make that match happen.
“That’s only if Mercedes would want to do that,” Saraya said. “I would want to do whatever she’s comfortable with. That really affected her mental health and I would want her to go through with that. I’m not saying she said no or anything like that. I’m just thinking about how I would feel.”

Paige had suffered a neck injury back in 2017. She returned to action after injury but got injured at a house show again in December of that year. She appeared on WWE TV in non-wrestling roles for some time before announcing her first retirement in 2018.
Nevertheless, there were rumors for the past few weeks about the former IWGP Women’s Champion making an AEW debut at Forbidden Door PPV. The Boss could’ve had several top-notch matches with current AEW stars or former WWE stars in Tony Khan’s company. Now with her injury, it doesn’t seem she will appear at the Forbidden Door and recently Khan addressed that.

Khan said, “Now going forward, it does make things a little bit interesting.
