WWE had called in heavy artillery in the form of
John Cena and The Undertaker to increase the star power on NXT. And that did wonders as it helped NXT beat Dynamite in the Tuesday Night War. NXT got a total of 921,000 viewers in the 18-49 demographic while Dynamite got 609,000 in the same group. Thus NXT was the clear winner on Tuesday night and that didn’t go down well with Tony Khan. But even before the show began, Khan put out a tweet with a picture that said “Bald A**holes” and the caption “I have a message for them”. Fans think this was a direct insult aimed at either Triple H or Shawn Michaels.
But after losing the Tuesday Night War, Khan again took to Twitter to express his anger. He even put out a tweet stating that AEW made John Cena and The Undertaker show up on a show that couldn’t reach a million views for the first time ever. While Khan continued his barrage on Vince McMahon and co, AEW’s Higher Ups just felt that Khan should step away from social media for a while.
Chris Jericho on the other hand just feels that Khan is going to do what he wants to do irrespective of people’s opinions. In his latest interview with The Messenger, Jericho said, “I learned years ago that bosses are going to be bosses, and billionaires are going to be billionaires. I’ve been working for billionaires for 25 years. At this point, you can’t control Tony Khan. He’s going to do what he wants to do and God bless him.”
But Tony Khan didn’t just stop there, he launched another attack on the WWE on Twitter.
Tony Khan accused the WWE of ‘Contract Tampering’
Just a few days after the Tuesday Night War, Khan once again took to Twitter to announce some good news about his mother. But he also took this opportunity to call out the WWE for its sneaky tactics of poaching talent.
