WWE legend Triple H turned 54 years old on July 27. The Game celebrated his anniversary with a gesture on Twitter that won’t go down well with either the AEW management or its fans. But what better to celebrate than earning a victory over your rivals, especially one that has breathed down your neck?

The AEW of late has proved to be the thorn in the flesh for WWE. While the Stamford-based promotion is still ahead in various parameters, Tony Khan’s company is slowly catching up. The recent development would have made things sweeter for the birthday boy for more than one reason.

WWE fans will surely remember Paige. The youngest WWE Divas Champion departed from the company in July 2022. She now plies her trade in All Elite Wrestling, like many of her former WWE peers.

The British pro wrestler took to Twitter to share one of her recent experiences. However, she seemed to have put the WWE over with her tweet.

Paige, who now goes by her ring name Saraya, stated that she met a fan who liked her as Paige, recalling her time in the Stamford-based promotion. The fan, who Saraya identified as a ‘he’, also told the 30-year-old wrestler that he does not like AEW.

Furthermore, when she asked the fan if he watches the program from her new promotion, he said he never has. While this would have been enough for an AEW fan to feel bad, Triple H added insult to injury by liking the tweet.

Saraya has been critical of WWE since departure

It is no surprise that many pro wrestlers harbor resentment towards the WWE. Many of those who have left the promotion have been vocal about the culture in Vince McMahon’s company. But Saraya took things a notch higher when she cut a promo and ended up dissing the pro wrestling impresario.

In her first promo at AEW, she said she’s glad to be finally working for a boss who listens to her. This praise for Tony Khan was also an insult to McMahon.

Though later, the wrestler clarified that she was asked to say it, her promo had left many shocked. Saraya also criticized the WWE again when she stated that Alicia Fox, who left the promotion earlier this year, wasn’t paid her flowers.

So, her tweet will surely bring back smiles on the faces of WWE fans. It has already received approval from WWE’s head of creative.
