It goes without saying that Tony Khan and Triple H are not fond of each other. Being the heads of the two biggest wrestling entities in the world makes you direct competitors. Ahead of the highly anticipated Tuesday Night War, Khan took to social media to throw shade at the WWE. Despite slandering Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Vince McMahon online, WWE still came out on top.
Since Khan took the fight online, Hunter has been silently hitting back at the AEW president by leaving his comfort zone.

Today, every wrestler is on social media, as it is the fastest way to promote themselves or their promotion. Triple H is among them, the Head of Creative of the WWE. However, Hunter is known to be someone who does not indulge in social media that often. Despite this, he posted a ‘Tweetstorm’ of messages regarding NXT after Khan’s comment.
Prior to Tuesday Night War, Haus of Wrestling posted a report regarding AEW vs. the WWE. Khan was not too happy about the report, which claimed AEW had a long way to go to reach the WWE’s spot. He posted on social media an image that said, “Bald A**hole.” This clearly targeted Triple H, known for keeping his head bald.
I have a message for them:
See you TONIGHT at a special Tuesday Night #AEWDynamite:

Since this tweet went live, fans noticed a barrage of tweets from Hunter’s X account. While Hunter uses social media, this was a ridiculous number of tweets in a day. All were regarding the upcoming NXT episode before and after it aired.

Dave Meltzer compares Khan to Eric Bischoff in WCW
While the WWE Universe was engaged about what Khan posted and to see a new rival take on WWE in the rating war, Dave Meltzer had something else to say. On the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer touched upon what Khan said.
According to Meltzer, what Khan is doing reflects what Bischoff did in WCW when WWE won the rating war. Despite pulling in good numbers and establishing a successful wrestling promotion, Bischoff was too busy wanting to beat WWE. This made him lose sight of the principal goal. A year and a half later, WCW was in hot water and ready to shut down. Meltzer hopes this doesn’t happen to AEW.
