AEW currently has a really stacked roster. So much so that even top-level talents find it hard to find space in their main events. This often results in them showing their discontent over the booking decisions. Their reasoning stems from the fact that they believe they could also draw in massive crowds. And one such talent is Jeff Hardy.
The veteran has been a crowd favorite for more than three decades in the industry. And fans flocked in excitement when AEW announced that the elder Hardy was all elite back in 2022. Fast forward two years and the 46-year-old has vented his frustration towards AEW and Tony Khan over his lackluster role.

The Hardy Boyz has cemented their place in the all-time list of tag teams for every pro wrestling fan. After all, they defined what a high-flying, daredevil-ish style of wrestling could look like. From iconic ladder matches to tag team gold, you name it, and the tag team has won it all. Even as a singles star, Jeff Hardy managed to carve out his way to the top. However, now they’re finding it hard to find a spot in AEW’s Dynamite.

Taking his frustrations over the same to his Instagram, Jeff shared a picture of the Dynamite Homecoming card and followed it up with the caption, voicing his discontent. He wrote, “We,”TheHardys” will not be appearing on this live show called #AEWDynamite. We, “TheHardys”are stuck in the dimension of,”AEWRampage”
While it is true that being left out would hurt any pro wrestler, let alone a superstar, being 46 years old and having a history of personal demons does not help fight the case. In fact, it is possibly the biggest thing that has always held the elder Hardy back, despite the highest level of potential he had as a young talent.

There is no denying the fact that Jeff Hardy has achieved it all after amassing numerous accolades across several promotions. Having gained this success while battling it out with his demons, imagine what he could’ve achieved if he had given it his all from the start. This big ‘What if’ is what fans and peers of the superstar wonder about all the time.
And it is one of the biggest reasons why promotions do not risk giving a proper storyline to the ‘Charismatic Enigma’, taking into consideration his long list of going to rehab but then relapsing. He had been let go from the WWE in 2003 due to his demons. He was brought back in 2006, only to be released again in 2009 due to the same reasons. And apart from the WWE, AEW too had to suspend the high flyer due to his DUI arrest in Florida in 2022, just one of his multiple troubles with the law and the most recent one.
