September 2023 will be a historic month in the WWE’s history book. Not only did the WWE and UFC merge, Dwayne The Rock Johnson returned, but also over 100 employees and superstars lost their jobs. Now seeking greener pastures, some are knocking on Tony Khan’s door after leaking sensitive WWE information.
In total, 18 WWE superstars lost their jobs a week after the merger. Some had planned storylines, while some were veterans. They now aim to rejuvenate their careers by seeking entry into WWE’s rivals AEW.
WWE released Mace and Mansoor of Maximum Male Models

Mace joined the WWE with his main roster debut on September 21, 2020. Mace had a feud with Mustafa Ali and Drew McIntyre. Mansoor established himself as part of the eight participants WWE scouted during a tryout in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in 2018. He made his television debut on September 6, 2018, losing to Luke Menzies on NXT Live.
On April 22, 2022, the two finally teamed up with LA Knight to form a heel stable. On September 21, 2023, WWE released Mace and Mansoor. Taking to social media, the two announced their departure from the company. While casually chatting on their Twitch Stream, the two discussed their prospects. While flexing his muscles, Mansoor asked the viewers to send the screenshots to promoters. Mace jokingly called Mansoor the ‘Saudi Hogan’ due to his physique.

Mansoor replied, “I want you to slide these in TK’s DMs. Tony we can talk about AEW.” With the number of wrestlers released by the WWE, AEW could see several potential new wrestlers joining the company. Mansoor also added that he is in his 20s and that Khan likes younger guys.
With the release of Mace and Mansoor, their future is uncertain regarding which promotion they will be joining. These are among the 19 stars and recruiters released by the company on September 21. Among the released stars was Mustafa Ali, with whom both Mace and Mansoor feuded.
The two stars revealed some eye-opening information never heard about before regarding the WWE after their exit.

Mansoor was not allowed to lose or win
During the same Twitch Stream, the two dropped some deep secrets about the WWE. It started out with Mansoor talking about his initial run in the WWE. Mansoor said, “I found out that I wasn’t allowed to lose. Vince decreed that I wasn’t allowed to lose.” Mace replied that Triple H would not allow Mansoor to win. Mansoor went on to talk about being a 105lb Godbreg. Mansoor continued that he did not know what to do.
This was during the time he was on 205 Live. Mansoor stated that conflict emerged over his role while competing in matches. He explained, “I can’t even be in a tag match where I don’t get pinned. I can’t even be in a triple threat where I lose by someone else getting pinned.” Finally, after he got called up, he lost his first match. In conclusion, he questioned the point of the directive and blamed the indecisiveness on display.
