Tony Khan has had enough of people throwing shades at him for the recent declining momentum of AEW. And, it seems, now it’s Khan’s chance to backfire and pipe those brickbats down with a roaring success in the AEW Dynamite episode of November 22nd. It went head to head the WWE Friday Night SmackDown that day and smashed the WWE programming both in terms of viewership and ratings.
It was a much-needed bounce back by the entire AEW team as they have been facing repeated setbacks for a while now.

Khan has been in deep water in terms of the ever-expanding competitors with WWE. Let’s look at a few recent instances of his fallbacks.
AEW received back-to-back blows from WWE in recent times
Khan might have given plaudits for being a good booker for the past few months but he has been brutally criticized for his major existing loopholes from a number of perspectives including booking, backstage standpoint, management decisions, etc.
The most recent beatdown of the Jacksonville-based promotion came when Survivor Series 2023 outstripped the Rampage and Collision with a record-breaking viewership number. It was supposed to happen as WWE brought the jackpot back in the form of a returning Randy Orton and CM Punk.

Now, it seems like finally there’s some hope looming for Tony Khan to stabilize AEW’s spot in respect of the rival promotion after almost two years of continuous dropping.
