Tony Khan continues to trash-talk WWE. This time he made John Cena and The Undertaker his new victims. This past Tuesday, AEW lost the Tuesday Night Battle to WWE as NXT recorded higher TV ratings than Dynamite. It is clear that Khan is upset by his loss and he is venting out his frustrations on the WWE legends.

Masking his loss, he verbally attacked Cena and The Undertaker, stating that their NXT appearance has diminished their value in WWE. Here is what he had to say.

Going to his Twitter account, Khan stated WWE had deliberately put The Undertaker and Cena’s status in jeopardy by calling them to make an NXT appearance this past Tuesday. He said that the two legends have never appeared on a WWE show with under a million total viewers and under 400k in the demographics until this past Tuesday.

Therefore, he claimed that their appearance on this week’s NXT episode has broken their two active decades-long ratings streaks. This was a straight attack on WWE Creative for using the likes of Cena and Taker to annihilate this week’s AEW Dynamite, which featured Edge‘s in-ring debut at the Jacksonville-based promotion.

There is no denying that Khan is competitive. But he is using his competitiveness to take digs and embarrass WWE personalities lately. For instance, just mere days before the Tuesday Night War, he insulted Triple H and Vince McMahon.

Khan was very much sure that AEW would beat WWE this past Tuesday. With Edge’s in-ring debut, it even seemed possible. Therefore, he got overconfident and underestimated WWE. In the process, he took jabs at the current Executive Chairman of WWE’s parent company TKO Group Holdings, and the Creative Head of WWE.

In a Twitter argument with a fan, he called out McMahon for all his illegal deeds and misleading allegations. Similarly, he also insulted Triple H on Twitter as AEW Dynamite headed to war against WWE NXT. He left an embarrassing post for HHH on social media, where he called him a ‘bald a*****e’.

Khan’s confidence was shattered as reports came in stating that WWE beat AEW in TV ratings. WWE NXT had a viewership of 921,000 and a rating of 0.30 in the P18-49 demo, whereas AEW Dynamite had a viewership of 609,000 and a rating of 0.26 in the P18-49 demographics.
