Things have been quite difficult for AEW star CJ Perry for the past few days. In fact, she had to stay out of action for the most part of December after she had to be hospitalized and go through surgery for a serious infection in her finger.

While the surgery looked to have been successful at first glance, there seems to be an update that might upset her fans. Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, the 38-year-old shared two pictures, one of her in the hospital and the other of her infection. In the caption of the post, she updated her fans on the possibility of a second surgery.

Since her AEW debut in September, Perry entered a storyline with her husband Miro before she became the manager of Action Andretti and most notably Andrade El Idolo, whom she managed during his run in the AEW Continental Classic tournament until she was forced out due to her surgery. And with Andrade already out of AEW, it would be fun to see what lies ahead for Perry once she returns post-surgery. As for Andrade El Idolo, where is he headed?

WWE might be interested in welcoming back ‘The Idol’

There has been a constant jump of ships between pro wrestlers recently, with the likes of Adam Copeland, aka Edge, and John Morrison going to AEW while WWE managed to sign superstars like CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jade Cargill. And now it seems like there is a new name poised to be on the list for Andrade El Idolo.

The Mexican professional wrestler had been a big name in AEW before recently deciding to part ways with the promotion. While no proper reason has been disclosed behind the move, all we know so far is that there has been a ‘major disagreement’ backstage. In fact, he even withdrew from his first post-All Elite Wrestling booking, as announced by GCW.

They wrote on Twitter, “Due to circumstances out of control, ANDRADE and MAKI ITOH will be unable to compete on Friday’s event in Chicago. The following replacements have been signed: MASHA SLAMOVICH will replace Maki Itoh, LIO RUSH will replace Andrade.”

Well, that’s good news for WWE, as according to various reports, they are eager to bring the 34-year-old back to the promotion and another major name to their already suffering roster as they get riddled with injuries.
