Matt Hardy shares how Jeff Hardy felt during his return

In the recent episode of the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the 48-year-old started the show with Jeff Hardy’s AEW return. He is excited about the Hardy Boyz reunion and is looking forward to several big moments they’ll make now.

However, the co-host shared his thought, of thinking Jeff looked nervous on Dynamite. The former ECW Champion agreed to it and gave his views on why the ‘Charismatic Enigma’ might be that way.

Matt Hardy said, “Yeah, I think he was nervous. I think that’s natural that anyone would be nervous. I don’t think we ever really worried about the fans in the live venue not reacting strongly to them.”

The former WWE superstar added, “We always thought that was going to be a pretty positive thing, you know? Sure. The reason he was gone was a very bad reason. But it is what it is. He’s Jeff Hardy, and the end of the day, at the end of the day, he is absolutely beloved.”

The former WWE Champion debuted in AEW last year and got suspended shortly afterward. The reason was being arrested for DUI. However, Tony Khan released a statement regarding AEW being there for Jeff and had suspended him without pay until he returns.
