Mone was an integral part of WWE, having worked with the organization for nearly 10 years, after having signed WWE in 2012.

She went on to have an incredible run, winning six world championships, and playing a huge part in the new women’s revolution, producing quality matches. Unfortunately, her run ended in 2022, after having creative disputes with Vince McMahon, and the result was the infamous exit of Mone and fellow superstar Naomi, vacating their tag team titles.

Since then fans have been disappointed, as they weren’t happy with the star’s sudden exit. With her switching to the indie scene and news that her debut in AEW is all but set, some fans have expressed their bitterness over the issue. Now, according to Wrestling Obeserver Newsletter, Mone was likely to compete at All In before her injury.

It’s no secret that Mone is one of the more gifted performers among women athletes globally. So it would delight AEW loyalists thanks to the potential for competition and opportunities for Banks at the promotion.

While this is great news for Mone fans and Tony Khan, hardcore fans aren’t too thrilled with the news and have expressed their brutal response on social media.

Fans unabashedly troll Mone on social media

After her departure, Mone switched to New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 17. She would go on to win the IWGP women’s championship, defeating Kairi. Unfortunately, she sustained an ankle injury against a matchup with Willow Nightingale, causing her to be sidelined.

Now fans have gone ahead and expressed their sentiments about her supposed debut. Many fans bashed her on Twitter with reactions ranging from indifference to outright hate.

This comment probably stems from a hater who doesn’t acknowledge her existence in pro wrestling.

This comment mocks Banks by picking her apart for her lack of star presence. Many hardcore fans have often times described her as an overrated wrestler, and it seems like this fan is one of them.

WWE fans, in particular, are quite passionate and they don’t like when fellow superstars leave their promotion to go to rival organizations. Hardcore fans echoed the sentiment with Banks facing heavy backlash.

One fan trolled her due to her missing out on one of the biggest pro wrestling shows in history. Fans have accused her in the past of missing out on important events due to injury, like her absence from the Royal Rumble match in 2022.
