Jon Moxley made his AEW debut at PPV Double or Nothing in May 2019. This was AEW’s inaugural event, so it definitely caught the eyes of many in wrestling, including that of Vince McMahon. During his 4 year stint, Moxley has won both the top championships in AEW. He won the AEW World Championship thrice and the AEW International Championship once.
He lost the latter championship just last week after being defeated by Rey Fenix. Moxley suffered a concussion as Fenix jumped off the entrance stage onto him prior to the bell ringing. He has already had 4 injuries in his wrestling career to date, and the last one took the tally to 5.
But in spite of his aggressive style of wrestling, he has received immense love from the AEW fans. Not only that, he has also found great favor with the boss, Tony Khan. On his recent appearance on the Superstar Crossover podcast, Khan praised Moxley and called him one of the top stars in AEW.
