Ross expects a tough and thrilling clash between two wrestlers known for their extraordinary abilities and intense rivalry in Ring of Honor 20 years ago.

During an interesting conversation on the Grilling JR #221 with Conrad Thompson, Jim Ross said, “You are here for a treat. Because all I can tell you is that they will intelligently beat the s**t out of each other. Yes, they will. They’ll have a game plan, they’ll be able to connect the dots, as we say, and they will kick a**.

He added, “It will be a physical slobber knocker, as you will see, and I love those kinds of matches. I only wish I was there to call it, but I will not be. I still wish I was gonna call it, but in any event, it’s going to be uh…. that’s a good show.”

The wrestling veteran is excited about how brutal the next confrontation will be, referring to it as a “slobber knocker.” 

Fans should anticipate a match loaded with furious blows, high-impact action as Punk and Joe are renowned for their hard-hitting techniques and no-nonsense attitude.
