“Love You”: Sasha Banks Responds to John Cena’s Ex Nikki Bella’s Subtle Jibe at WWE After Big Business Return as Mercedes Mone

The AEW Dynamite Big Business exploded with just one name in Boston. The home crowd of ex-WWE star Sasha Banks greeted and serenaded her with “CEO!” chants. While the entire arena was having a ball of a time, several people are now wishing that they were at TD Garden to welcome Mercedes Mone as well.

The return of Banks to American pro wrestling was heavily implied but wasn’t directly advertised by Tony Khan. Because of this, not every hardcore Mercedes Mone fan was present in the arena. However, these fans have taken to the internet to express their elation with the CEO’s return. In fact, this list also includes the name of former WWE Superstar Nikki Bella.

When Nikki Bella gave a pop to Sasha Banks

Former WWE Champion Nikki Bella was one of the biggest names during the Divas era of WWE. Saluting another great sun who rose from the WWE, Bella took to X to praise the return of Sasha Banks to the US.

Tweeting from the Nikki & Brie account, she wrote, “‘I need to be here. I want to be here. AEW is the only place where this REVOLUTION can be global.’ Massive chills from the CEO! LOVE this! And everything she represents and is doing!! 👏🏼❤️‍🔥🙌🏼. Congrats @MercedesVarnado!!! Sending you soooo much love!!!💋💪🏼Nikki.” The highlighting of the quote by Sasha Banks suggested that Nikki was really invested in her promo.

Returning her respect and appreciation, Sasha Banks replied, “Love you, Nikki. Thank you.” Nikki’s original tweet had come as a reaction to a video showcasing Mone opening the AEW Dynamite Big Business on Wednesday.

The video carried the sentiment and the eruption of the visible and audible eruption of the crowd that welcomed Sasha Banks.

While she impressed pro wrestling fans with her mic and ring work, her magic also charmed the WWE locker room. Unable to withhold themselves, Naomi, Bayley, and Tamina Snuka attended her AEW debut.

The trio even pretended to disguise themselves as random fans on a social media clip before attending the AEW event. This kind of support is usually frowned upon, but recently, the competition between pro wrestling outfits isn’t warping its wrestlers into trouble.
