One of the most talked-about things in the pro wrestling world is what will be Kazuchika Okada’s next move. The NJPW star has been on top for years now, as he has left a mark with his athleticism. As his contract with NJPW has expired, speculation is that he will be making his way to the United States. The two major pro wrestling companies in the United States are WWE and AEW. While many have stated their reasons as to why either of the two would be a perfect choice for him, AEW’s top star explained why Okada should work with Tony Khan.
Why Kazuchika Okada should choose AEW?
In an interview with Tokyo Sports, member of the AEW’s Disciplinary Committee and top star Bryan Danielson explained why the Rainmaker should choose AEW over WWE. Talking about Okada, Danielson said, “Of course I want him to come to AEW. Fans all over the world know how great Okada is. Both WWE and AEW are major players, but I hope he comes to AEW.” While he really wanted to work with Okada, he then explained why AEW might prove to be a better choice for his career.

Explaining further, he said, “If he went to WWE, they might have him start with (third brand) NXT like Shinsuke (Nakamura) to adapt to the American style, but it’s already completed.” Danielson believes that Okada doesn’t need any of that and should come directly without changing anything.
Tony Khan has been focusing on the free agent market this year. The first star he secured was Will Ospreay, who has made a name for himself as the Aerial Assasin at NJPW.
