The legend of Sting just got a grand ignition on AEW Dynamite as his wrestling journey edges its completion. AEW’s head honcho Tony Khan and his creative team delivered one of the best spectacles in the world of pro wrestling to their fans. Moreover, the Florida-based promotion achieved this without doing anything just for some shock value.
The latest iteration of the AEW in Von Braun Center saw The Young Bucks waiting to thrash Sting and eliminate him from their way. However, the legendary pro wrestler descended upon them and brought down the fury that established him as an icon in the 1990s. The recreation of his trademark iconic entrance has sent fans into a maddening frenzy, making them react to their latest core memory.

Today’s Dynamite event was special. This was Sting’s last appearance on AEW’s weekly broadcast during his time as an active wrestler. Tony Khan had revealed a few days ago that it would be Sting’s last appearance this 28th Feb. So, the fans started preparing to bid farewell to their favorite wrestler. And Voila! In today’s AEW Dynamite Khan’s plan was wildly praised. But what happened in the Von Braun Center?
As The Young Bucks made their entrance to the ring, they were met with fans wearing Sting masks. One of the masked fans turns out to be Darby Allin, who launches an attack. Despite Allin’s efforts, The Young Bucks gain the upper hand with their numerical advantage, utilizing bats and executing the EVP Trigger.
Suddenly, Ric Flair made a surprise appearance, seemingly aligned with The Young Bucks, only to turn on them and unleash his assault. However, The Young Bucks quickly regained control, leaving Flair hurt.

Just when it seemed like The Young Bucks were about to leave, Sting’s music blared through the arena. As The Icon descended from the rafters, he joined forces with Allin, wielding his signature bat to strike down their Revolution adversaries. The same entrance made him stand out in the 90s during his stint in WCW.
Then Allin followed up with a Coffin Drop, while Sting delivered a devastating Scorpion Death Drop to Nicholas. However, fans have taken to Twitter and expressed their excitement after watching Sting.
Fans get nostalgic and emotional after seeing his entrance
Several fans took to social media to voice out their emotions when they saw their favorite superstar’s entry one last time. One user tweeted how they found the entrance to be the most perfect part of the entire segment.
