It’s no secret that Cody Rhodes is one of the founding fathers of AEW. Rhodes has been instrumental in helping AEW shape into a sizable rival company for WWE. Despite jumping ship in 2022, Rhodes speaks very highly of AEW and his friends who helped build the company. That said, he was recently asked if he would make himself available to watch AEW’s upcoming PPV event, All In.
All In will emanate from Wembley Stadium in The UK on August 27th. The event is set to take place in front of a capacity crowd of over 80,000. Given that it is one of the grandest events of AEW, will Rhodes watch it?

During an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit via Peacock, fans asked Rhodes a variety of questions. At one point, he was asked if he would watch All In this Sunday. Let’s not forget that All In was an independent pro wrestling PPV promoted by The American Nightmare and The Young Bucks with the help of Ring Of Honor.
Rhodes even won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Nick Aldis in the inaugural All In event in 2018. It goes without saying that the show holds a lot of significance for Cody Rhodes. Nonetheless, on being asked if he would watch it, he said, “I will be working that day, but I am very happy for the guys and girls competing out there. I am proud of Matt/Nick for taking our creation to another level. Also shout out to my Sister, Teil, who named the event, and Joe Koff at ROH for helping us and allowing us the chance to do it ourselves.”

All In registered record numbers with their ticket sales before even announcing the match card for the event. The event is scheduled to showcase key figures like The Young Bucks, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Kenny Omega in prominent matches. Anyway, why is Cody Rhodes busy on Sunday?
