“I Came Home and…”: Jade Cargill’s WWE Debut Gets ‘Sweetened’ by Surprise Package From AEW Friend

World Wrestling Entertainment has a new addition to its roster. The wrestling promotion recently signed Jade Cargill who made a name for herself in AEW. Cargill’s official signing happened on September 26, 2023. The former AEW star arrives amidst much fanfare and hype owing to her talent and charisma in the squared circle. After she became a part of WWE, an old friend from her former workplace sent her a gift. After seeing the gift, she shared an incident that involved both the friend and the gift.

Jade Cargill receives a special gift

Taking to X (former Twitter) Jade Cargill shared the special package that she received in the mail. She said, “I came home and received a package I was most confused about until I looked at the name lol. The parcel had a pack of KitKats. The former AEW TBS Women’s Champion then went on to say that after looking for who had sent her this gift. It turned out to be her former colleague and friend Eddie Kingston. The 31-year-old star then shared an incident, saying that Kingston could not believe that the star was so fit even after seeing her munching on these chocolate-covered wafer bars.

Cargill started her pro wrestling career with AEW in 2020. She had reiterated in an interview that she wouldn’t have gotten a better start elsewhere. During her time there, she went on a winning streak and made her way to The TBS Women’s Tournament. Subsequently, she ended up winning the title. She made her final appearance for the promotion on an episode of AEW Dynamite. After the signing with WWE, we saw Cargill making a very brief appearance at WWE Fastlane. She came in a Chevy Suburban and a happy Triple H greeted her. Jade Cargill emerges as the second big name to transition from AEW as she joined WWE after Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes was a former WWE star who took a break and worked at various circuits along with AEW. Before making his way to WWE as he aims to finish his story. After Triple H met Jade Cargill at Fastlane, he shed some light on when fans could expect to see her on the screen.

Triple H wants to usher in Jade Cargill at the right time

At the media scrum after Fastlane 2023, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque was asked when fans could see Cargill in the WWE ring. He promptly said, “When she is ready to blow the roof off of everything right.” He further added that he has a lot of confidence in the star’s potential and her abilities in the ring, but he wants her debut to happen at the right time. Levesque further added, “You don’t wanna put someone in a position that they are sort of ready for you wanna make sure they are damn ready for”.

Triple H also commented that this is an entirely unique system compared to her previous establishment, and he wants her to get comfortable here first. With Cody Rhodes making an appearance on this week’s NXT for a major announcement, fans are speculating that it could be about her.
