Moreover, McIntyre’s current unsatisfactory contract could lead him to approach Tony Khan and discuss a potential switch.

Fans of AEW can look forward to exciting times in the promotion. Big WWE names such as CM Punk, Goldberg, and Sheamus are being connected to the promotion. We’ve previously seen stars like Cody Rhodes, make a jump from AEW to the WWE.

However, not many stars go the opposite route. But, Drew McIntyre is another name, which is heavily rumored to make a debut at AEW’s Wembley show announcement around August.
Recently, a Twitter account wrote “Tony Khan announces ALL IN for London in August. Drew Mcintyre’s contract ends in July and he’s not renewing. Y’all seeing the vision?”
This tweet got fans of the 37-year-old wrestler and AEW discussing the potential move. Moreover, AEW fans think this could actually materialize because of a few factors.

Fans of Drew McIntyre were disappointed in his loss against Gunther, at WrestleMania 39. Both he and Sheamus are veterans of the game, whom fans felt got the pointy end of the stick by their current employer. They also explained why the Scottish wrestler could make a switch to AEW.

Many fans hinted that Tony Khan could purchase the remainder of the former world champion’s WWE contract to get him over to AEW.
Tony Khan could easily buy out the remainder of Drew McIntyres contract. He would be one of the biggest signs to date! WWE has treated him & Sheamus like garbage. Both of them truly deserve soo much better.
