Fans were eagerly waiting for AEW All In. It was the biggest spectacle of AEW. But fans got something more from the event. Unfortunately, due to backstage altercations, Jack Perry faced suspension while CM Punk faced termination. The wrestling community got divided into two sides since then. But when the president of AEW Tony Khan claimed that he felt threatened by Punk, things got serious. Now it’s been weeks since that news and The Second City Saint has been living his life. He even made it clear that he didn’t wish to see Tony Khan in the courtroom anymore.
CM Punk is done with courtrooms
Following his termination from AEW, Punk made his way back to MMA. The fans of the 44-year-old star are well aware of his relationship with UFC and MMA. However, this time, he appeared in the commentary box instead of the octagon. He was seen on the Cage Fighting Fury Championships 125. He has been a part of CFFC since 2018, making only two appearances, one now and one back in 2022.

Since Tony Khan’s claim, fans have been wondering whether Punk will file any sort of litigation against the president of the promotion. But according to reports, that does not seem to be the case. Punk is trying to avoid any kind of courtroom drama and is looking forward to moving on with his life. Many have described him as someone who is “breathing a sigh of relief” since his departure from AEW.
However, there is still uncertainty about whether he is in a non-compete clause or not since his termination. But looks like CM Punk does not wish to return to the Florida-based promotion. But if the star wants to make a return to the ring, he has only one option. And he had subtly hinted at that option.
Where could CM Punk go if he wants to resume his wrestling career?
While his appearance on the CFFC 125, he dropped a subtle hint at his WWE return. Other commentators asked him whether he has a lot of time left to perform in the ring now. To which the star laughed and then said yes, followed by saying he has two months. This has sparked speculation amongst the fans. WWE’s Survivor Series is set to go live in two months. Apart from that, the event will be held in Chicago, which happens to be the star’s hometown. This adds to the speculation that this is the perfect setting for WWE to announce his return.

However, it might not be as easy as it looks like. Earlier this year, Punk ventured into WWE for a few backstage interactions. This happened during an episode of RAW in April this year. As he was interacting with other stars, he was told by Vince McMahon to leave the premises. Following his termination from AEW, there have been talks in WWE about getting him back. But it seems like the promotion is divided over his inclusion.
