After parting ways with WWE last year, Sasha Banks went on a quest to conquer the East. Just within a month after her arrival in NJPW, she captured the women’s gold. She was looking forward to adding another accolade under her belt, but destiny had some other plans for her.

On May 21, she fractured her ankle while fighting in a match against Willow Nightingale for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at Resurgence. As of now, she is out of action because of her injury. Amid her in-ring absence, the rumor mill has churned up a fresh piece of news stating that she might return to US soil soon.

It’s been a while since ‘The CEO’ posted anything on her social media accounts. The last she was active on social media was when she declared that her injury is not going to stop her from chasing her dream. She promised to have a speedy recovery and return as soon as possible for her beloved fans.

With the AEW and NJPW crossover show, Forbidden Door, just around the corner, she is one of the top picks to feature during the event. As per Sports Illustrated, “there were significant discussions” of Tony Khan bringing her to AEW. However, her injury derailed any potential plans.

However, there is one person who will not be happy to have her in the Jacksonville-based promotion.

She made this repulsive comment after someone asked her whether she would live to have the former WWE star in her faction (The Outcasts) or compete with her at some point in the future.
