It is the Holiday Season, and everybody happens to have their ritual on the holidays. Mostly it is to spend some quality time with your friends and family. While many people have their variations of this, AEW star, Maxwell Jacob Freidman, popularly known as MJF, revealed how he likes to celebrate Christmas. And it has to be one of the most relatable things.

How MJF celebrates Christmas

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), The Salt of the Earth shared his ideal way of celebrating Christmas whilst wishing fans a merry holiday. He wrote, “Merry Chinese food and a movie day.” It is clear that MJF likes to celebrate Christmas with maybe a little bit of Chinese takeaway and some heartwarming Christmas movies.

MJF has been a part of the AEW roster since the promotion’s initial days. The star is known for his snarky comments and a wacky sense of humor that made him an instant fan favorite. He is the current World Champion of the promotion since 2022.

While MJF revealed his holiday tradition, another AEW star decided to keep things traditional.

How other AEW stars celebrated Christmas

Dax Harwood, famously known as the one-half of the tag team FTR, decided to keep things simple and traditional. The star posted a photo on his X (formerly Twitter) account in which he could be seen cozying up with his family. In the caption, he wrote that he is thankful for the life his family gave to him. While Harwood decided to spend some time with his family, another AEW star got a special gift, a courtesy of WWE’s Mami.

AEW’s top heel and House of Black member Buddy Matthews was seen celebrating Christmas with WWE’s Rhea Ripley. The two were seen standing in front of an arcade cabinet. What’s more special about this cabinet is that it has the custom design of both the stars in-ring personas. This goes to show that the two share more than just heel personas. Ripley was seen playing Secret Santa with her fellow stablemates of Judgment Day. In the clip shared by WWE, the heels were seen breaking their characters to share a heartwarming moment.
