AEW Top Star Expresses Gratitude After Getting His Praises Sung by the Undertaker: “Not Many Higher Honors”

The Undertaker’s legendary run in WWE is something to treasure forever and beyond. His dedication to his gimmick has been a well-documented fact to any wrestling enthusiast. Now, as the saying goes like, a diamond cuts a diamond, The Undertaker, too, couldn’t stay aloof about the much-recognized current AEW asset MJF and had a few pleasant words on him. And guess what? The self-proclaimed Mystic Max paid the praise back on a rather humble note.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman has garnered an immense reputation for his impressive wrestling skills. His flawless display of his on-screen cocky persona has attracted him to many well-wishers. Fans immediately connect the AEW World Champion with presumptuous posts on social media. However, this time, the 27-year-old couldn’t help breaking the character for The Deadman as he turned into a fan.

MJF displays rare humble reaction to The Undertaker’s big words about him

MJF, the constant heel of the promotion, literally rules over his craft. To say he is ahead of the game will be an understatement. He thinks he is superior to anyone else and to back this up; he has a bunch of accolades, too. That said, none is as glorious as an enormous compliment from The Deadman.

The Undertaker set such a brand in his name that his opinions hold a tremendous weight in the wrestling world. During the ‘DeadMAN’ show, the veteran acknowledged the beautiful embodiment of MJF’s gimmick. On top of it, he expressed his wish to face off against the AEW sensation in the ring.

MJF certainly couldn’t let this nod from the GOAT slide without bragging about it on social media. Flaunting the big rub from Taker, the Devil tweeted, ”Not many higher honors than being praised by The Undertaker.

However, given that The WWE legend is now on a permanent hiatus and MJF serves another promotion, it’s quite unfeasible for two different era stars to lock horns anytime soon.

But MJF, however, has a fair chance to come to The Undertaker’s old wrestling home next year.

The AEW World Champion teased joining WWE in the past

Although MJF hasn’t had any solid association with WWE so far, the Generational Talent teased several times to jump ship to the world’s biggest wrestling promotion. The most recent of those came days ago when Fightful Select exclusively revealed that a secret source told them MJF is eying a WWE debut following his contract expiration with AEW in 2024.

Also, his previous token of faith in Triple H and Nick Khan solidified the stance to some extent. However, since there’s no official word on this till now, it’s better to leave the matter on the trust of time.
