On the biggest event in AEW’s history, Friedman elevated the main event to the next level with his wrestling. But one move from his opponent, Adam Cole, got everyone scared about the future of MJF’s career.

As the match between Friedman and Cole was underway, the two matched each other in every aspect. After a bit of back and forth, the two found themselves near the steps, and Cole didn’t hesitate. While their story of friendship got everyone convinced this would be a fair match, Cole took it to the next level with this spot.

Instead, he took the steps out and planted a gruesome brainbuster on it that looked brutal and could have led to a serious injury. But thankfully, MJF was fine. The fans, however, were left worried.
