Dwyane Wade‘s wife Gabrielle Union is an inspiration! Be it her stance on social issues, inequality, and more, or taking the lead in her business and acting career, Gab continues succeeding and being a role model. However, what’s truly inspirational behind these endeavors isn’t just her hard work. The most influential part of her brands is what inspired and shaped her.
The actress has spent plentiful time in the entertainment and fashion world and is well aware of stylists struggling to style textured hair. “Through my time in Hollywood, I have been in a thousand different situations where the people who work in glam just had no idea how to deal with textured hair,” shared Union. Over the years, the actress started to learn more about products that could go well with textured hair and finally launched her own hair care line. During the same year as the launch of her brand, she was undergoing IVF and was struggling with hair loss. However, none of that stopped ‘The Perfect Find’ actress from doing what she loved.
Teaming up with her hairstylist Larry Sims, Union started Flawless. She has been an active part of the brand by developing and testing many of the formulae to curate the best collection. The actress also dedicated equal hard work and sincerity to her baby care brand.

In partnership with her husband Wade, Union launched ‘Proudly,’ for babies with melanated skins. After witnessing a lack of appropriate skincare products for their 5-year-old daughter Kaavia, the Miami Heat legend and his wife decided to take matters into their own hands and curated a brand fitting for that. Since then, the brand has continued growing and launched a special hair care line last year.
