Whether as a basketball player or as a media personality, Shaquille O’Neal has been utterly sensational. However, an extremely difficult sector that he’s excelled at is the role of a father. Dad to 6 children, O’Neal has successfully made time for each of them, and done a wonderful job of raising them. Now, it seems like his mantra for success is out. Using Deion Sanders as the medium, Shaq echoed Coach Prime’s opinions about raising his kids.
In a time where parenting becomes harder than ever, just ask Shaq’s former teammate Dwyane Wade, it seems like these two have figured out how to succeed. What did the new coach of the Colorado football team have to say about his coaching tendencies?

Deion Sanders left an indistinguishable mark on the world of sports. It is unbelievable to think of a player appearing in the Finals of two major American sports. Imagine Giannis Antetokounmpo suddenly appearing at a Super Bowl. Yet Sanders made that a reality. A two-time Super Bowl champion, Prime Time also came around to the MLB and even reached the World Series in ’92. However, even with his accomplishments, his greatest achievement isn’t related to the sporting world.
For Sanders, his life matters far more than his career, as he talks about in the video shared by Shaq. “I never think about failure, I’m not a failure…I’m a damn winner…My winning is not based on games. My winning is based on life.”?While his life philosophy is something to be heralded, it was his next comments that related all too well to Shaq and his situation.

“I want these kids to be fine, young men: to open doors and yes mam and no mam…They be fathers, not baby daddies. To be real men that show up on time, and early. That, if they say they gonna do it, they gonna do it.” He further elaborated on how he brings the same mentality to his coaching as well. “We teach so much other than just football…If you send me a boy, I’m gonna send you back a man.”?

Shaq, it seems, has carried over the same mentality, as he has helped his children grow in fame and wealth.

Shaquille O’Neal’s kids continue to impress
Whether you look at Shareef’s playing career or Myles’s millionaire status, it is hard to not be impressed by the O’Neal family. As Me’arah looks set to dominate women’s basketball, another one of Shaq’s kids is about to enter the limelight. If history has told us anything, it’s that she is going to excel in it.
Moreover, Shaq has instilled a similar mindset as to what Deion mentioned in his sons. “I try to teach my sons that when you?re with a woman, you have to protect, provide, and love.” Perhaps the two sporting legends have figured it out.
