An Instagram video highlighted former Chicago Bears linebacker Jay Norvell.  Meanwhile, the commentator Tony Squares, narrated his opinions. Calling Norvell “the biggest idiot in college football”, Squares introduced him as the head coach of the Colorado State Rams. At the same time, the commentator highlighted that Norvell’s team is set to face off against Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Squares then directly went to the main point. He brought out how Jay decided to create tension between himself and Coach Prime by making some rude comments. The commentator wasn’t someone who stood in favor of Novell’s snide remarks. From making fun of the coach’s looks to highlighting how his team recently lost to Washington State by a score of 50-24, Squares wasn’t holding back.

Like many, Squares didn’t think it right for someone to make fun of the legendary Deion Sanders. Furthermore, given how the Colorado Buffaloes are excelling during his debut year with them, the commentator made it look as if Jay Norvell didn’t have much of a leg to stand on.

The reel caught the attention of former Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett. He uploaded it on his Instagram story for his 1 Million followers. The 2008 NBA champion shared his approval over Tony Squares’ remarks by leaving a couple of laughing emojis in the story.

“I don’t care if they hear this in Boulder. I told them (ESPN) ‘I took my hat off, and I took my glasses off.’ And I said, ‘When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me’,” said Jay Norvell during his talk show segment.

While his comments drew applause from the live audience, it didn’t sit well with anyone else. Of course, it soon made its way to the ears of Deion Sanders. The Buffaloes coach went to his own talk show to share his thoughts on the criticism towards his dressing style.

“I’m a grown man,” said Sanders during his segment. “Don’t tell me what I supposed to wear and what I don’t supposed to wear. Please.”
