The critics are silenced. Deion Sanders called out all those who didn’t see his Super Bowl-winning vision with the Colorado Buffaloes.  ‘Prime Time’ declared he’s noted all the haters talk about his coaching decisions and he’s ready to prove them all wrong. Several athletes across all sports lauded him for building the Buffaloes into a formidable team that defeated the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. One of his subtle supporters is NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

O’Neal will never shy from showing his appreciation for another athlete. While the Colorado squad was impressive, Shaq was far more impressed with Coach Prime’s stance.

With two Super Bowl rings on his finger, Deion Sanders made a transition to coaching football after 14 seasons in the NFL. But his coaching journey hasn’t been easy, especially when he joined the University of Colorado – Boulder as the head coach in 2023. But his new season in Boulder is off to a good start after the September 2 game.

The Buffaloes are quarterbacked by Shedeur Sanders, the coach’s son. They went up against TCU, the 17th-ranked team in the country. The Buffs ended the game with a nailbiter 45-42 victory.

In his post-game press conference, Coach Prime had a swag in his step. He used that opportunity to let everyone know he’s been keeping tabs.

We told you we was coming. You thought we were joking? Guess what, we keep the receipts,” the head coach vented at the press event.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend didn’t need to add any words to Deion Sanders’ silencing feat after this simple gesture.

Coach Prime earns everyone’s trust

The Buffaloes weren’t getting enough support or credit. Then on Saturday, they went and set individual records that got them noticed. Sanders went to the press conference after their win to defend everyone in his team, from his quarterback son to his receivers.

Wearing his Colorado sweats, white hat with sunglasses on them, and his eye-catching gold chain, the NFL superstar demanded, “Do you believe?” Shaquille O’Neal isn’t the only NBA great who is believing.

Magic Johnson and Dwyane Wade also chimed in to congratulate Sanders and the Buffs.

Colorado had only one game win in the past decade. That made it very hard to believe in the team. Though it lured Super Bowl-grade talent to its coaching faculty, it didn’t look hopeful.

Sanders was met with doubt for overhauling the team with contentious recruitment decisions. That all paid off this weekend.
