For a talented athlete and astute businessman such as Dwyane Wade, we might say this is just the beginning. His business endeavors substantiate speak for themselves. The latest collaboration with his wife Gabrielle Union demonstrates his efforts to embrace the new culture. As the two turned to the next chapter of their brand, the couple shared some moments with the fans as well. Named ‘Proudly,’ Wade and his wife jointly launched their own skincare brand for children in 2022. 

Following the brand’s whirlwind success and demand, the two decided to step into a new realm. Recently, the Hollywood actress shared a glimpse of the launch event.

Both Wade and Gabrielle were present at the event for the launch of the brand’s hair care line. The pivot is a first for the star couple, but clearly, it’s a task they’re up to. The official Instagram page of the brand shared a picture of the owners on the story and wrote,

“WHEN THE MOM AND DAD ARE IN THE BUILDING @GabrielleUnion @Dwyanewade”

Following the event, the couple reshared the image on their individual Instagram accounts.

Much to fans’ delight, Gabrielle shared several more snaps and snippets from the event on her IG story. In one of the clips, Wade was seen sharing a few words about the brand.

What makes it so much more unique is that this is one of the first baby care brands for children with melanated skin. Both of them worked together to curate a team of specialists and dermatologists to develop baby care products.

The launch of the hair care brand was a natural extension. Like the unique product and brand itself, the inspiration behind it is also special.

In 2018, the couple welcomed their daughter Kaavia James Wade. In an interview, Gabrielle revealed how her 4-year-old daughter required special skincare products that were not available in the beauty market.

That is when the couple realized the need to create and develop a brand for every child of color.

The brand was designed while keeping the needs of black and brown children in mind. Moreover, their venture is also EWG verified by the Environmental Working Group, making it environment-friendly.
