The Los Angeles Clippers have slowly started to figure things out. When the Los Angeles Clippers added James Harden to their roster, the NBA world wanted everything to work out, and for the players to sacrifice and play for the team. Although this might have been true at the time, New York Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony believes that people quickly change their views on players.

Even when a player is sacrificing his own chances and scoring less to be a role player for his team, Carmelo Anthony revealed that the fans will turn on the players once they start noticing the drop in production.

As there are four superstars on the Los Angeles Clippers, all of them cannot have high-scoring games every day. As they are slowly figuring things out as a team, Carmelo Anthony believes that even though the fans talk about sacrificing for the team, they will quickly start singling out players when they notice the drop in scores.

Carmelo explained what goes on in the minds of the players and said, “You want me to make this work. If I am supposed to be getting 20, 22, and this week if I average 15, you killing me as a fan.

According to Carmelo Anthony, having gone through a similar experience of his own, even though the NBA world wants the players to sacrifice for the team initially, they will turn on the players and bring them down as soon as they notice that the numbers are not what they used to be. For the Clippers, he notes, “They all great, they all know what they’re doing, they know how to win… You just gotta be willing to say, ‘Tonight ain’t my night’.
