Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the most respected NBA ?big men? of all time. Standing at 7 feet 2 inches, he had an unstoppable signature move called the ?sky hook?. However, it was his perseverance and single-minded focus that made him such an endearing basketball figure.

He is considered among the Lakers royalty, who spent all the years of their NBA careers in Los Angeles. However, in a recent interview, a 28-year-old American comedian did not include Kareem in his Lakers Mt. Rushmore (Top 4).

The host then interjects and clarifies that the comedian has to name only his top 4. Jerry Morgan then says, ?So yeah, Shaq got to be on that number 4 list.?

?Bubba Dubba? finally lists his Top 4 Lakers. He says, ?Shaq, Kobe, Magic, and just for the hater?I?m going to say something completely different. I know you going to think I’m going to say Kareem but I want to make everyone mad?it?s LeBron.?

The 28-year-old then explains that the void that was left after Kobe retired in 2016 was filled when LeBron James came to L.A. He also then clarifies that he will choose Kareem over LeBron in the ?Top 4 Lakers? just to be ?politically correct?.

Kareem Vs LeBron Vs Shaquille O?Neal: Who is the more deserving Laker??

Both Kobe Bryant and Earvin ?Magic? Johnson are the Los Angeles Lakers?s golden boys. Both of them, in their respective eras, contributed unconditionally to the growth of the organization, both financially and culturally. Bryant and Magic also never left the Lakers during their NBA careers. They always chose to stay and achieved NBA greatness nonetheless (through their NBA championships and other individual accolades).

Karen Abdul-Jabbar was an integral part of the ?Showtime Lakers? of the 1970s and 1980s and helped the Lakers win multiple NBA championships during that time. He also was the player with the highest number of points ever scored in the NBA, until LeBron surpassed him and broke the record in 2022.

Shaquille O?Neal was part of the iconic ?three-peat? team of the early 2000s. He and his chemistry with young Kobe were two of the main reasons for the Lakers? dominant reign over the NBA in the early 2000s. However, he then moved out of Los Angeles in pursuit of NBA greatness with the Miami Heat. He even ended up winning another NBA championship with them in 2006.

LeBron James became a Laker when he moved from Cleveland to Los Angeles in 2018. Since then, the Lakers organization has seen a drastic change in the basketball culture in the state, especially after the late Kobe Bryant?s retirement in 2016. LeBron led the Lakers to an NBA championship in the ?bubble? in 2020. However, compared to all the other Laker legends mentioned above, he has not contributed as much to the organization.

Many argue that if LeBron wins another NBA championship with the Lakers, then he will definitely earn his spot on the Lakers Mount Rushmore.
